News Release

We are pleased to inform you that Dr. Irene Bravo has been appointed Interim Vice Chancellor of the Miami Campus, effective March 3, 2014.

Dr. Bravo, Professor of Psychology of Carlos Albizu University, has been a member of our University community since 1999.  She has served as clinical supervisor of the Goodman Psychological Services Center of the Miami Campus and is a faculty member of the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology Program.  Due to her vast experience in clinical and academic areas, Dr. Bravo has been actively involved in the development and implementation of new academic programs, the development of the strategic plan as well as in the accreditation processes for both, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the American Psychological Association.  She has also participated in various institutional committees.

We welcome Dr. Bravo as Interim Vice Chancellor and wish her success in the performance of her new responsibilities.  We know that she will have the support and cooperation of the Miami campus community, the San Juan campus, and the Central Administration.
